The march to integrate Pi Research data has passed a significant milestone.

With help from a couple of hardy Pi Research users, I'm broken the code of Pi V6 and have it eating out of my hand. The only limitation right now is that it will not export track position data, so the track map cannot be created. That said, the results are not too shabby.

Here are a couple of test videos from this phase of the work. Its the first time I've had matching video & data sets, as well as the means to export the data to TrackVision.

Swift DB6 at Kettle Morraine Regionals - http://www.vimeo.com/418497

Van Diemen Formula Continental at Road Atlanta June Sprints this year - http://www.vimeo.com/418379

I'll be talking to the Pi folks at the PRI show in Orlando tomorrow, so hopefully we might make some further progress there.

Hi Tony!
Any news regarding the compatibility of the Pi systems and TrackVision? I'd still like to see a step by step for us less familiar with data manipulation.

Hey Keith,
This is not an announcement, but......

Pi Research has agreed to make Pi V6 available to any user that wants to use it with TrackVision. I have the distribution, and will be putting together the very step by step you want. Once that's done, Pi will announce how to go about getting V6 and using it with TrackVision.

Its been a long road, but we've made it!
