Hi there

Just made my first TV videos with simple data from Gtech.
I had to adjust the file - and the logger spec - before TV could read it.
My Gtech csv file contains info about rollout a.o. And also laptimes...
To get it running I removed all the header info and replaced "," with "." and ";" with ",". The latter problem is probably caused by my regional settings...
I changed the logger file to use line 1 & 2 (in the stripped csv) and now it runs.
Anyway I will make a small script for adjusting the csv file, and (if possible) merge data from my Dynojet LCD-200 (holds RPM, AFR and Throttle position). Next step will be GPS data, so scripting and semi-automatic sync is appreciated in the long run... Wink

So.. Now the questions...

Am I right, that TV does not accept the lap-time information directly from the Gtech file? Number of lines in the header depends on several factors (a.o. number of lap times), and I think this disturbs the import to TV?

Will I be able to specify my own "logger" and select it from the list in preferences?

FYI: First take is on Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBo5mHE10rM

Best Regards

Nice driving!

Send a copy of the original csv to Support@TrackVision.net and we'll take a look. It may be possible to use the lap times, although they may need to be reformatted. You are right that the logger properties file needs to know the row number to find the channel names and first data record.

Its simple enough to create a new logger:
- In the dashboard { section, give it a new short name, and save it with a new filename.
- restart TrackVision, and your new short name will appear in the logger models list.

Once I get your csv we will have a better sense of what's possible.
