I downloaded the free trial version and it seems to work well. I have emailed them with some questions as I am having problems with an AVI file and getting the sound to record. It is cheap at $25. Creates multiple varieties of Picture in Picture videos.
I read their help files and their solution seems to be to reformat the video into something else before using their product. hmmmmm

My ultimate goal is to have my main screen my TrackVision video with a small PiP of a rear facing camera

Tony....you should look into adding this feature to TrackVision.

How did you get on Rob? Did you manage to find a PiP solution?

Rob,
.avi is not a video format, its a multimedia container format that can carry video and audio files in a number of different formats. Its not until the avi container is opened that an application can see what video & audio format it contains, and then finds the right codec to use.

racerender does not install its own codecs. It relies on Windows to find the right codec to open a given file format. This is what we call CODEC HELL, and is exactly why we licence and install the Main Conccept codec suite with TrackVision. Lots of applications install codecs, many of which are not so hot. Windows will take the one that claims to open the specific file format, and is installed at the highest priority for that format. Its a crap shoot. By using our own codecs, we avoid these problems.
