I am about to purchase a Chase Commander unit. It is a joint venture between ChaseCam and RLC. It should plug right into the ChaseCam PDR100 and embed the data on the video.
But, the software provided does not produce a video overlay from the data and video.
I can load the video into the TrackVision software and it plays fine. The software that comes with the RLC does output a CSV file (I opened it and it appears to have the correct data and some very convenient header information)
Have you looked into this in the past yet. Can you take a look at the sample data if I send it. I can also go in and modify where they have what data in the csv file if need be to make it work. Just tell me what to do.
I have been a TrackVision guy since 2007 with a G2x, but sold it last year.
Also sent you a email through Rennlist, but my question is much more refined than it was there.
Thanks

By all means send the csv to support[at]trackvision.net and I'll take a look. Its very likely that I can send you back a logger support that will read your Chase Commander csv files in TrackVison. _________________ Tony Kelly

Any luck with that data. I have the complete setup now so I can make my own video if that would help.
Thanks

Ed, did you send an example csv file? I didn't see an email. _________________ Greg DuPertuis

I just made a movie from driving around my block and exported the data from the software. It looks like it exports as a TXT file, not a CSV file. ??
Anyway, just sent it.
Thanks

Huh. I will try again.
Just got back from my first race with my own data. Too large to send, will resend the same one I did.
I will send in a couple of emails so that I can send a test one first.
Thanks

OK, I just sent it.
I used one of the files from this weekend instead of the demo file.
I sent it in two separate emails. The data first then the video.
Thanks

Did you get the emails this time.
I had also sent you a BIN file as a third email. I can see now that I can convert the BIN file to the TXT file, so just looking at the TXT file is fine.
Thanks
